About the event
This Wednesday we will be playing and teaching Lost Cities.
Players play cards to move their playing pieces along stone paths representing expeditions. Players take turns playing cards in ascending order to make it as far as they can. It's better to concentrate on a few paths, since the last spaces grant high points, but ending early gives negative ones.
In this game by famous designer Reiner Knizia, a player's success depends on risk assessment, reading your opponent, and finding the right probability and timing to invest in successful expeditions.
